Multilingual Marketplace App Connecting Buyers and Vendors
The client wanted a global marketplace where vendors and buyers who share a culture and language can find each other. We built it as a multilingual progressive web app with a mobile-first design, hosted on Azure.

Solution
- Vendors list their services with details such as origin country, location and language. Buyers search on those fields, including by GPS location.
- The front end uses React with Redux, GraphQL handles queries and MySQL stores the data. A new language added to the platform appears across the data, and the Google Translate API converts English content.
- An admin panel with several roles lets the client team manage vendors, buyers and subscriptions, and view ROI and due, overdue and upcoming subscriptions.
- PayPal and Stripe handle subscriptions and payments, and the Google Address API supplies accurate locations.
Results
- The platform was delivered within the agreed budget and timeline.
- The client team can export PDF and Excel reports on sales and ROI.
- Hosting on Azure uses an autoscaling architecture.
